This blog has been pretty quiet for a few weeks now, mainly because I have been working on a beast of an article for NetTuts called "Working with RESTful services in CodeIgniter".
It is a great feeling to finally get an article on a site as large as NetTuts and hopefully it is the first of several. I have a few ideas for more articles, but of course I will keep posting the smaller ones here.
Even nerds need money for food. ;-)
I am from Bristol and I like cider.
I am at heart a PHP developer but every now and then I get forced into using Ruby on Rails by people who think it's the best thing since sliced bread.
I have a limited company with Scott Parry called HappyNinjas where we write a shitload of code for people who give us money.
I work on some great projects, like PyroCMS, CodeIgniter and Fuel which are starting to become a real job for me instead of just part-time open-source volunteerism; which is very nice indeed.
I am also a relatively skilled kayaker, a terrible mountain biker and world traveler.
